Fun little map. One small problem is the dwarven city in the center north. The port, city and nearby ruins should be connected and accessible by units w/o ashwalk (and maybe also make it possible to get by the volcanic area just to the south by land). You could convert some of those squares into dessert or mountain w/ road. Also you might want to tweak the start positions. Yellow, in particular, is very weak and vulnerable. Moving yellow to the NE (maybe connecting two of those islands first), and shifting cyan up a bit would fix this.

A fun little map. Only two small problems: you need better access through the volcanic area in the north (dessert, roads through mountains, etc.), and Yellow's start is a very weak and precarious position. If put a bridge between 2 of the small islands in the NE, move the Yellow start there & the Cyan start a bit further north it would be a more equitable map.
