Should have a good balance between flying and ground based units. Also the shipping costs should play a part here: if you need to move powerful ground units, you should consider heavier boats.

Right now hard to test as the game engine has not yet been updated to support the latest map format.

After looking at it briefly, I do have one suggestion: You may want to remove sea creatures from the production list. A good sea stack or even a hero+kraken would own this entire map. It looks like a very interesting map to me, but all of your work with path design etc. would be wasted.
