Someone is angling to win the map prize :D

Excellent imagination here. Games will be really slow paced expansion wise with all the heavy neutral defenders which is a nice change up from so many other maps.

Hard to tell initially about balance (for example there are 3 cities with items but not equally spaced apart and not equal quality items and the start positions aren't perfectly symmetrical) so I hope you will regularly make updates to the map because it should be a good one once it gets played a few times.

Extremely good looking map. The item cities might not be so even. Cosider that to get into the ring of fire city you will need to take the one city on the map capable of building elementals(on the other end of the map). The griffon city can be reached normally. The mountain city needs flyers, available from several locations around the NE part of the map.

Still a brilliant map. I love the north south graphic as well.

Smursh,

Looking in the Map Editor with the grid turned on it appears to me anyway that you can get into the Ring through the 3 Towers guarded by Devils so you won't need Elementals. Plus the item in there is much better than the item in the Mountain city.
