Just finished a game on this map and I noticed a flaw in the mirror nature of the map.
There is a gap in the ridge line (80,29) for the Northern player that leaves an opening allowing Imalel to be attacked from the lower area in the East. This doesn't occur for the southern player.
I really like how the rivers move up through the lands on this map. That's very well done. However the severe restriction on fliers is too harsh. I won simply because my initial Barb could fly and lurk on the ridges. This allowed him to raze a couple cities and my opponent had to keep his own cities well defended against the Barb while I did not have to do the same on mine. You should consider allowing more cities access to fliers so that an Assassin hero can track down a Barb. Even if it's just Crows it allows a L3 Assassin + 3-5 crows to take down a Barb and his mount.
