Fun little map. One small problem is the dwarven city in the center north. The port, city and nearby ruins should be connected and accessible by units w/o ashwalk (and maybe also make it possible to get by the volcanic area just to the south by land). You could convert some of those squares into dessert or mountain w/ road. Also you might want to tweak the start positions. Yellow, in particular, is very weak and vulnerable. Moving yellow to the NE (maybe connecting two of those islands first), and shifting cyan up a bit would fix this.
