Give it a try, let me know any suggestions, or any naming errors, etc. :)

Wow, thanks for the new map. Always appreciated especially large ones.

Can you confirm a couple things (so I can tell if you missed anything when I look around).

1) All cities are 'normal' production wise with random income?
2) All sites are exactly 20 gold?

Suggestions:

1) Can you please, please, please go in and setup start spots for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 etc. Leaving it random just ruins the map if you get badly placed (ie someone far from teammates). You can define multiple start choices for each one for variety.
2) Your lookout towers aren't exactly in the best of places. For example there is one right next to the Green capitol. After Green takes it, it's useless because it can't see anything. Lookout towers should be along natural borders between nations so that owning it lets you see into the enemy territory so it's valuable (for example a great place would be on one of the snow islands between Red/Blue so it lets the owner see a lot of that sea area). I'd also suggest boosting the view range to max of 6.
3) Similarly with your temples. There are only 6. One of which is a strength temple on the island in the south west. I doubt that island ever gets visited for the 1 city there or maybe it does with serpents but it's SO far away no one is ever blessing there. So it's a waste of a site.
4) I think the Yellow spot is going to be bad in FFA games. It's really surrounded on all sides. Even with river barriers it's going to be almost impossible to win from there when most other sides have fewer enemies to face. Not sure it's going to even do well in team games that are 4v4. It would be better if Green moved southeast to Chile and Yellow moved to Nigeria to space things out better. That involves some real editing though but it would be worth while.

This map was kind of hard to make balanced, being based on history and, geology, and reality. I can unlock it if anyone wants to have a try at making it more balanced. How do I do that?

SCIkick,

Load your map in the editor. Click the 'map settings' button on the right hand side menu (this is where you setup 2v2, 3v3 game start spots). In there is a check box option that says 'share map data' which means anyone can copy the map.

I wasn't suggesting you need to move around a lot of features on the map. Just simply change which city is the capitol. What difference does it make which city you call 'Africa' or 'South America' as long as it's in the Africa/South America area. Same goes for the bless/lookout sites.
