Good Guys will be looking for 3rd member for the tournament.

We were thinking of a single elimination to help move the tourney faster since games should get 48 or 72 hour turns at least to allow teams to plan strategy. Also not everyone has time for so many games and it can cause rounds to be delayed quite a bit to play run off games if one group ends with all 3 players in a tie. Probabl the biggest source of frustration in the bigger 1x1 tourneys is that you have to wait so long for your next round game to begin that you forget the tourney is even happening. Particularly frustrating for those who don't have time for lots of games and suddenly have another game pop they forgot was coming.

Also I'm not sure we would be able to get 9 teams since we are borderline for 8.

As for timing figured if we could agree on maps we would submit to the mods to set up after new years when everyone is back for games.

Two tournaments could be in the same time, 3v3 and 1v1. 3v3 with group rounds, and 1v1 play-off with low number of turn-time and aways. Double elimination can give 2nd chance for players in play-off tournament. To make it not too long, turn-time and aways should be very short.

Kudos to Smursh who organised the tour swiftly.
Here is the tip for any future tours:
Admins easily set up tours but hate to discuss tour details...
That is, any tournament ideas should be discussed in forums to ensure participation and finetune all details.
When all details are settled, a simple communication to admins with all details is adequate to start a tour!

There seems to be bugs with the 3vs3 tournament, e.g. our opponent only having two players?

Any news what will happen? Currently, we hold moves.

There was a problem hosting the 3x3 tournament due to too long playernames
Took some trial and error before I found the issue, thats why I had to restart the tournament a few times.
Sorry for the inconvenience :(
