Now I know the reason we didn't have a tournament lately.

It may take more time to discuss optimum tournament logistics than the tournament itself.


Here is the summary of amended proposal that incorporates yesterday input:

Max players: 32
1 Vs 1 -
Separate turns - 1.5 days
Start aways 8

Tournament type:
Group stages up to semi finals - best 2 advance
Single elimination in semifinals and Final

1st Group Phase: River Crossing
2nd Group Phase: Central Sahara
3rd Group Phase: Michuaquan
Semi Final: Abandoned Kingdom
Final: Four Lords Original

Anyone who objects should do that in the following hours or remain silent.

Moving a scout in an empty city and raising it was the key

Lets hope they can make the tournament feature work.

Piranha gave me the rights to do so a couple years ago and when I tried I was unable to select maps for the tournament. Something had broken on the site and was never fixed. It's why there haven't been any for a couple of years now.

Tournament is now hosted. Allowed length for tournament name is not so long so I had to improvise a bit

KGB - I had to do some debugging, but it seems it works but you must use different maps for all rounds, including the playoff. Also, no misstakes/changes of the maps can be made, then you need to reload the page and start over...
