Thanks for the clarification on why I couldn't start tourneys in the past. I am pretty sure I was trying to start ones that were just single map tournaments. You used to be able to do that. So are you saying that's no longer possible to have a single map tournament?

I assume that round 6 map is the tie-breaker map. Since this is group play (4 player groups, top 2 advance) it is very likely there will be ties that have to be broken (3 players end up at 2-1 and one player at 0-3 type thing) to decide who moves on.

P.S. SnotlinG maybe you or Piranha can clean up some of those 'active' tournaments that aren't really active any more. There are supposedly 6+ active tourneys but most haven't had any game start on them in 1-2 years. They are dead.

May 1st is much better for me.

I'm away all 3 of the next weekends in April for 3-4 days each. Given the turnaround time in these games there is an excellent chance I'd miss turns.

I'd play.

And I disagree that to prevent sorceress from dominating would need larger maps. If anything she is more dominant on larger maps with fewer players as she can really get going and max out on the bigger 4 player maps like discworld. So unless the tourney would be 2x2x2x2 games it should be small maps, maybe dwarf clans which might be the only map she is useless on.
