3x3 tourney

We've had some discussions after challenging other teams where people might have interest in a 3x3 tourney. Would be smaller, most likely we would have something like 8 teams for a single elimination tourney or 12-12 teams and have two groups with 2 teams advancing to a semi-final single elimination round. Anyone else interested in something like this?

single elimination might work best. would make a 3 round tourney.

As far as maps the waste and high seas combat are well balanced maps designed for 3x3 that are fast playing and might be good for the first two rounds. The other option would be colorful snowflake but probably don't want two water maps.
for the final maybe discworld unless we want to go with an 8 man map that has a good start setup for 6 man.

Could we start 1v1 tournament in the same time with 3v3? If to create it as play-off with double elimination this brings 1 additional game for participants.
