undead units

Are they listed somewhere? I decided to go for 2-tier ruins with my 3lvl paladin and it says I can face a vampire, but still I'm in no position to know if I've just commited suicide or not :)

Hungry Tales,

The dice for L1 ruins is 12. The Dice for L2 is 20. So if you took undead lore twice you could have 9+6=15.

Not sure what a Vampires strength is (I think it's around 8 or 9) but those odds make you about a 75% chance to win against 1 Vampire. If there are 2 or more the odds drop.

I suggest you bring a couple of scouts to increase your Lore to 17 or more.

Sry KGB, but I don't quite understand this dice talk (it reminds me D&D handbook, which incidentally I used to not understand either :) ). Let me rephrase my question: what's the Undead Lore score (or strength or might, whatever) of a vampire and where are listed (if so) the stats for the other undead units one can encounter in ruins?

HungryTales

I copied this from a post by Piranha:

Here is the deal at the moment.
L1 ruin 12 sided dice
L2 ruin 20 sided dice
L3 ruin 33 sided dice.

Skeletton UL (undead lore) 3
Ghoul UL 5
Mummy UL 8
Vampire UL 14

So assuming nothing has changed, Vampire has a UL of 14. If you meet 2 or more of them you'll be in big trouble if you don't have a UL of 18+ in a L2 ruin.

Thx, this clarifies a lot. Also, It occured to me eventually this whole dice talk is about the dice for a battle roll - which helped :). That's why you state 18+ UL is a way to go for 2-tier ruins (because that means 90%+ chance of a winning roll with d20)

edit: little did I know :). Now, here's a thing - I've just entered a 2-tier ruins with 3lvl paladin (UL 15) backed up be 1 scout and encountered a mummy. According to what KGB said mummy should be UL 8, but the battle screen showed 7 for the mummy and, to my utter dismay, 9 for my paladin  . Fortunately it all ended well :) , but I am still at a loss coming up with any strategy concerning visiting or not ruins and if so when.

Any further clarifications would be much appreciated.
