Just curious...if they do negate equipment, I think there should be some sort of weapon (or maybe a cloak) that negates the Archons negating
It would have to be a level 3 ruin item of course and very low likelihood of finding the item.

Do Archons negate any equipment that a Hero might have equipped as well or only base stats?
Just curious...if they do negate equipment, I think there should be some sort of weapon (or maybe a cloak) that negates the Archons negating

The indirect answer I got to this from Piranha is 'yes' they do. On the other hand he did say that magic items can allow a hero to exceed their maximums.
Since heroes *rarely* get close to their maximum's I'd prefer Archons don't negate magic items.
