Stratch, unfortunately we have a very long todo-list and the AI is not top priority since it is working pretty well for learning the new people the game. Some small improvments yes, but nothing major...

SnotlinG,

Easiest way to make it a *lot* more challenging (and the AI in general) is to code the AI to *never* move Hv Infantry units (treat them as movement 0). Then put 1 in each city to prevent scout/crow attacks from busting the AI in a cheap manner.

Then make all AI games have 1 Hv Inf as part of the starting armies so that the AI never loses its capitol to a cheap attack.

Won't require any complex coding and players will have to work a lot harder.
