Open = Grassland, however this should maybe be clarified/renamed in the dropdown.

Maybe some more options for the different water terrains should be added. However, the bonuses is the same for all water terrain.

I checked in a recent game, and Group Warding did add up for me, just like Group Ambush does add. This is quite consistent of how warding and ambush is worked out.

Interesting. I don't recall it working like this but don't recall having 2 Group Ward units (heroes / units) in the same stack. I've had Warding units and Group Warding units together and those stack as expected.

If Group Warding works like this it definitely over powers Group Warding since Warding is infinite (continues to work against any number of opponents) and Ambush is finite (only works once).

Yes, unless he is flying. This max of 15 strength applies to all land units, not just the Barb.

Blocking ports is one of the most over powered things in the game. I've always believed players should be able to upgrade their armies before the fight takes place.

I thought ward works like ambush where group ward and group ambush do stack. Leadership and chaos bonuses do not stack.

I have a game going where two of my heroes are have group warding items giving 55% and 20% ward individually. When I mouse over the stack shows 75% group ward.

Smursh,

Was there a question there? You said you expected Group Ward to work the same as Group Ambush and indeed it does.

The 90% rule is a variable between 79% - 90%.

The 90% rule is actually not locked at 90% but instead adjusted depending on the size of the battle. In a bigger battle luck is reduced even further to not let exceptional luck in a single battle decide the outcome of a otherwise equal game. Luck will still play a role but with reduced luck a player can predict the possible outcomes thus making it possible to avoid losing because of bad luck. The 90% rule is adjusted by the total battle value of all units including terrain bonuses but no other bonuses included according to the following table.

Total battle percentage is use
Total battle < 65 90%
Total battle 65 - 100 89%
Total battle 100 - 145 88%
Total battle 145 - 190 87%
Total battle 190 - 235 86%
Total battle 235 - 280 85%
Total battle 280 - 325 84%
Total battle 325 - 370 83%
Total battle 370 - 415 82%
Total battle 415 - 460 81%
Total battle 460 - 505 80%
Total battle > 505 79%
