game stuck on fetching game data

in the game "slappo" all the humans had pressed end turn but the ai did not advance. we waited for the one tardy ai to timeout. two of the players can now play as normal. I can not log into the game as it is stuck on "fetching game data" I also got many turn notification emails all at once and the turn artificially advanced from 27 to 63 but just for me and for no other players. I would be crazy appreciative if it could get fixed.
