You gain -26 gold for conquering this city.

When conquering an enemy city, you gain a proportionate amount of their current funds. If the enemy happens to be in debt, you lose gold for conquering their cities. I do not believe any player should incur debt for conquering enemies. Their Kingdom's debts are not captured in the same way a stash of gold is captured. The minimum value gained from conquest should be set at zero.

I dont think you should be able to have negative gold? (only the AI at the moment)
Or have you seen any human player with negative gold?

I have added a fix for this though, so you should not get their debts now, even though it is kind of funny :-)

Yeah, I was testing my new map. AI are coming along pretty well, considering the difficulty of programming such things. Whenever you want to improve them, I'd have some tips for easily making them challenging strategic opponents by providing priorities and checks. Logic is my forte, so I'd love to participate.

Thanks,
At the moment I wont put so much more work into the AI, only fix some small things as mentioned for beta6, as it already fullfills its role as dummy/pratice opponent pretty ok.

The problem with improving the AI is twicefold:
1. Takes a lot of programming time, which I currently dont have (or put on other areas of WB)
2. More logic for the AI makes it execute slower, i.e. increasing serverload.

With this in mind, tips or suggestions for improving it is always welcome. Even if I dont have time right now, I will then add it to my (neverending) todo-list :-)
