playing on android, top menu is not working

When playing on my android device, the top line menu in game is not working.
main, game, order, report, hero, turn, this is the top in game menu i am talking about.
so can not check stats, inspect heroes, send gold...
everything else is working just fine, all the "buttons", both in the "left" menu where you check production, battle history, messages, search ruins... as well as the "the lower right" buttons for handling units works just fine.
the top menu in game just stopped working, quite some time ago, but nobody else seems to be complaining, so now i really wonder if it is something with my device, or if there is an actual problem playing the game on android device.
Since i also have a cpu, this is a minor problem for me, but it would still be nice to be able to do everything from the android again, because sometimes you just cant carry your stationary cpu with you...
Oh, and there is a kind of similiar "menu line" outside of games, where you can chose "my account, play, maps, forum, community ladder, premium features"... and this is also working perfectly.
