Explored ruin on map shown as unexplored

This was strange, but I repeated it twice. On the map I am a square away from a ruin that it shows is unexplored. When I land on the ruin, it asks if I want to explore -- and when I do, it says it is already explored. I take a look, shows unexplored, repeat the behavior.
