Beta5 Hero Offer Screen

I played a very quick test game against the AI mostly because I wanted to see how the mini-map fix was going to work in terms of browser speed. It's very impressive in Firefox on that small map.

I did notice one issue. The Hero offer screen is always blank on the right hand side (where the allies and other info on the heroes is normally displayed). All I get are the 3 portraits on the left. This happened several different turns/offers. Eventually I clicked on a portrait and once I did I got the info on the right hand side. On the next turn it was blank again until I clicked a portrait.

We did that on purpose but I'm not so sure its a good idea. I think someone posted something about it that made us think, okay lets force them to select a hero. Perhaps it was that new players didn't understand that they could pick another hero. But perhaps this is even worse . Can place a text there saying click on the faces to select a hero.

yeah, I noticed this too. From a UI standpoint it is very annoying. one must click on a hero to see the offer and then accept or decline. IF a user is not going to realize they can choose one of the three giant faces staring at them then they are helpless to begin with....
