grid screen & slowdown

Hello, over the past week my screen is showing strange grids, they arent the tight grids of the mapeditor but more like 4x4 grids. the minimap keeps trying to draw them and my game is almost unplayably slow. I tried both IE & Chrome and the problem is affecting both programs.

I have seen grids in chrome when I have accidently zoomed in or out a bit in the webbrowser.
Make sure that you are viewing the page at 100% size.
