Double production of units

Postby TheVic » Thu Mar 07, 2013 7:06 pm

See gameid=36492
Quite sure I got 2 crows and most likely all city production doubled this turn (nr 26).
Game breaking if thath happends in beginning.

Was fighting with Argamenon to rescue my hero during during the first 5 seconds from freeze time.
So was doung multiple load of game. Argamenon probably did the same. (And Argamenon has better technique as he has beeten my first move 3 time in a row now, all within 5 seconds, grr.) Thought I would move first sometime at-lest now that I was home sick and luckily saw thatz it was 5 min to end of freeze time, but no.

The way to do this is fairly straightforward.

1) On the prior turn make sure none of your stacks have any move paths set.
2) Before ending your turn set move paths for important stacks (ie to rescue your hero or to attack and enemy hero/city/stack etc)
3) Turn 'off' the option that stops stacks on seeing enemy units (neutral or real enemy) in the FOW.
4) As soon as the freeze time is over, hit the 'Move all' button.

This moves multiple important stacks right away at the start of the turn with no chance of them stopping.

Hello,

yes looks like it could be an issue with several players trying to load the game at the exact same time. :-(
I have made some updates now to prevent this from happening again.
For your game, all players have gotten the same amount of duplicate builds, which is unfortunate but we have to live with it for this game.

Thanks for reporting this, and let me know if you see the same bug again (as it is fixed we shouldnt have to I hope :-))
