Ceremonial Dagger found in L1 ruin

Game 51489 (Grand Final 2A14).

I found the Ceremonial Dagger in a L1 ruin turn turn (28). I thought this item was only supposed to be in the tutorial? Note this is a L1 ruin that had respawned.

No its a lvl1 item, created for the tutorial, but in use in all games

Pretty good L1 item with that +3 UL. That's better than some L2 items!

I would say both Agrippas balanced ring and Eye of KGB are better than the Ceremonial Dagger?
Dagger, +3 UL, +3 Attack
Eye: +2 UL, May see ruins
Agrippa: +1Chaos, +1 group move, +1 UL

The Eye is either the 1st or 2nd best L1 item (Ragnarok is arguably better when found in the early turns for a Barb hero when it lets them really take neutrals without fear. The Eye is better mid/late game).

But the Dagger is better than Agrippas ring. +1 move and +1 Chaos don't matter much. But +3 attack is again a nice boost for a Barb. More importantly that +3 UL matters a lot more now that Rangers only get +2 UL per level and that you need to reach 22 to be safe in L2 ruins. It also brings L3 ruins into range sooner too for Ranger/Barb which is HUGE and even can let Barb's get L1 ruins since at 7 UL they only need 3 scouts to get a L1 ruin.
