Suspending Games

I know I've asked for this ability before but I'm going to ask again since I expect that over Christmas-New Years that a lot of Warlords are going to have a lot of trouble making turns in 24 hr games.

I know that I'm going to be traveling and will have limited access during the upcoming week and am likely to timeout in any game less than 4 day turn around. Which is a shame because I am in a lot of games that are quite interesting.

Maybe for now just suspend the countdown on the site from Christmas (12:00am Dec 25th)-New Years(12:00pm Jan 1st). So if you do make a turn, great, it passes on to the next player. If you don't you aren't penalized by having your time run out. Once Jan 1 hits you can start the countdown running again.

Yeah, I'll be travelling too. Can we suspend turn limits? Anyone against this?

Especially since it's virtually impossible to get a sitter.

I'm in a dozen games. So if turns come up in 6 games a day and each game takes 10 minutes to play that's asking someone to donate an hour a day of their time to play my turns. A bit excessive to ask that of someone.

I'm just about to mae trip myself too. We talked about adding at least 36 hours to all turns during this period. I'll ask snotling if he can fix that. Perhaps 48h will be better. Should help.

Added an extra 4 days to all turn-times for the x-mas period.
