Maybe his answer could be added to the bottom of the Team games Wiki page.
Here's his answer:
Game->Send Resources allows you to transfer gold to a teammate (or enemy for that matter).
When you portal armies to a team mate you always retain control of them. It's not possible right now to transfer control of them.
1) In team games you can see into all your allies stacks and cities (their production, portals etc).
2) Whatever area of the map they have unfogged you can see as well.
3) You can never attack your team mate
4) In the chat interface there are options for team only chat
5) You can view all the combats your team mates were involved in on the view combat results screen
