Multiple Creators for 1 Map

I posted this in the Map Making forum section, but it wasn't getting much traction so I decided to throw it in here

I think it'd be cool if you could "share" a map you're creating with others to work on as well.

For example, I thought it would be fun to create a "Storm Giants" map where everyone on the team built out their own unique section on a map.

Is there a way to do this today? I guess the first person could publish it and then someone else save the map as new to them and work on it, and so on until completed?

Maybe this could be another Gold or Silver feature, sharing maps? It doesn't seem unreasonable.
