The cost for building/upgrading Towers has been decreased by 100 Gold.

Now how about lowering the city self-raze cost to something reasonable like 200.

Yes, 500 is way too much. Has anyone actually self-razed a city in b4?

The selfraze cost will be lowered in beta5 to
5*city income + destroy production cost. However minimum selfraze cost is 150 Gold.

About city rebuilding, base cost 500 is fine but to rebuild a capital costs 900, considering walls are destroyed it isn't convenient (I don't know if it's just me that thinks this). Maybe it could be possible to reduce the part of the cost related to income, to make it more reasonable? Like 500 + income*3 or something?

I agree with LickKing.

The cost to self-raze (which I have also done a couple of times costing well over 1000 gold each time) and rebuild being based on income / production is too much.

I don't mind a little variation depending on income/production but to double or triple the cost is too much. So if a base rebuild cost is 500 then having it increase up to 600 or so depending on income seems OK. Same with self-raze costing a minimum of 150 but it shouldn't be more than 250 tops (it HAS to be cheaper to raze than rebuild since it's always cheaper to burn than build).

It would also be nice if some units/hero skills could lower this cost (maybe a Dwarf rebuild cost is 90% and an Orc raze cost is 90% while better (2+ turn) units give better discounts).
