If any mapmakers would like to take on and update/ improve on my maps that would be great. I want to but just can not see myself finding the time. If I can't share them with you I can message you my password to use if you have been an active player for a while.....

In fact you can share them. Just load the map in the editor, open the control map settings panel. To the left at the bottom there is a checkbox. Check it and finalize/submit the map and others will be able to keep on adding to your map.
