Dead before my turn

Hi!

I joined a game, then died. It never was my turn (I think), my time did not run out (I know), and I never loaded it, so I can't have surrendered.

Sadly, I don't have the game ID, because I clicked away the finished game without a second look.
The Info I have:

Game lost - 39 hours ago
You lost game: Psycho.
Rating: 17 ladder points lost.
Duration: 1 turns

Losing ladder points for nothing is sad. Maybe you can check and fix this?

Hello,

I checked that game, and it is a game with only 24h time, so most likely is that you missed that it had started for 24h, and then you got kicked out by the game when the time was up.
I think I will actually look at the logic and probably change it so in laddergames you wont get kicked out immediately, but rather after 3 turns as usual...

Okay... at the time when I lost that game, I was checking my account approximately every 8 hours, but maybe I really did miss it. Still, even if I did miss it, dying and losing ladder points instantly is harsh.

Yes, I have changed it so you do have the normal 2-4 timeouts (depending if you are free/Silver/gold member) before getting kicked out of the game.
Sorry you missed the turn, but at least you got this change to happen
