Replays

Ok I just tried to use replays for the first time and found a few small issues. First, if you press the battle button you have to reload the game because the screen greys out like normal but no popup appears so there is no way of getting out of that view. Second, the replays seem to just stop responding/working somewhat randomly. Third, if you turn off follow it really helps speed up the replay but then if something crosses your view it stops the replay and you have to start over.

Other than those issues its a great system.

Yes the buttons on the left hand side (battle etc) should be removed soon from replay-player.
For now I have some isses with "free-looking" at the same time as the replay is playing, so to be safe do not uncheck any of the "follow" checkboxes, this might cause - as you have noticed - the replay to stop working.

I checked out on tonight myself.

I couldn't get the Fast Forward button that moves forward by 1 turn to work. I tried to sit through a 33 turn game but after 40 minutes I was only on turn 27 and this was with everything at max speed (10) and just watching movement, not pausing for anything. At that point I paused the replay and hit fast forward 1 turn and it went forward by 1 turn but pressing again would not move forward another turn. It might be better to just have a place to type in a turn number and jump immediately to the start of that turn. It would help immensely with other problems that mess up the replay.

Something that would be nice is to see a running total of cities/armies/gold for each player. It helps get an idea of how big each players empire is as the game is in progress.

We have made some improvments so hopefully it should not crash now
Also did rewrite the step 1 turn forward code, so it is working again

Give it another try and see what you think...

Added army/city/gold history to replays now.
Unfortunately data is only added for turns that happened starting from yesterday, so you will see lots of replays that has 0 as values for a while...

Just a thing which I would suggest, is that players who played with undercovered name is still undercovered there, not clear who really played. One else good moment, on my look, would be active link on player's name, to open his page if necessary.

Still the same, players who played with undercovered name is still undercovered in replaying, and active links on their account page sends to black sheet

Starting from now (i.e. games initiated today), games with undercover players will show the players real names + links on the replay page...

It's a version 0.9 game so there is no replay for it. There are replay links on the wall for all games but only 0.91 games have replays so it's little bug there that will pass when old games are completed.
