Yes I see the issue, but I think we will have to live with it for now.
Otherwise if we reset the new-message icon to not flash we could potentially miss an earlier unread message.
(and unfortunately it is impossible with current code to check the messages received if they are read or unread, it is only checked during gameload).
Sooner or later we will rewrite this code to be able to load the chat-data dynamically and this issue will then be solved.
