Hello all,
I found a bug in the Finalize map process, which caused all cities with pre-determined production to lose their production. The data exists in the mapeditor though, so here is how to fix it:
1. This ONLY applies to maps which use the option to specify the production in one or more cities.
2. This ONLY applies to maps which are Finalized/Submitted
3. To fix it, open the mapeditor and load in your Finalized/Submitted map
4. Hit Save once it is loaded. This should prompt you for a new mapname, make something up (lets call it map1) and save.
5. If you are paranoid like me, then exit the mapeditor, and restart the mapeditor. Now load the newly saved map (should be status Draft), and verify it looks as you expect.
6. Delete your old Finalized map. (use the menu in the mapeditor, be careful to pick the right map, and only do this after you have saved it under another name as per actionpoint 3-4)
7. Load you new version of the map, i.e. map1
8. Open the map settings and change the mapname to whatever you want to call your map
9. hit save map
10. now do a Finalize map
So to summarize, no changes is needed on the map, the mapeditor has all the correct information. However som info was lost in the Finalize step, so we need to re-do this step for all maps that has cities with pre-set production.
Any questions, give me a shout
