Wrong Ally given

Postby KGB » Fri Dec 10, 2010 4:15 am

In my game Slaughter (691) I got a hero offer this turn with 1 Elemental.

I accepted the offer but was instead given a Bat with my hero, not an Elemental.

Also I noted this hero didn't turn up in the History log. Does that not happen until the next turn?

I think it show up the next turn.
Could the bat have been produced in the city or vectored there? I don't see any way that you could get a bat with a hero.

I think I will have to see if this happen again.

Piranha,

No, the city was one I just captured a turn or so before so I wasn't vectoring units there. And the only place I am making bats is definitely not vectoring those bats.

I'm not sure how it happened either as I was surprised to see my new hero with a bat and an Orc (what the city produces).

I got exactly the same bug in game 671. Offered a hero with 2 elementals, accepted, got 2 bats instead. Kind of unpleasant :)

Either I was imagining it or the last hero I accepted was missing the '0' in the line 'The hero brings 0 allies'...which led me to believe he was bringing allies.

I could swear this has happened a couple of times to me!

Edit: Oh, and he cost me 1500 gold so I thought for sure he was coming with some friends...
