Tim,

I didn't even notice the Eye of KGB in there until you joked about it. It's a great location to put it. No one gets it early on but everyone has a chance to eventually get it and with some nearby L3 ruins it's nice to know what you'll face there.

One the thing about the Blue/Teal area I didn't mention but you could do if you wanted to preserve how it is on the original map. That is you could extend the river a couple of more squares. Then place a port at the end (or next to the end) and make that port accessible from both sides of the mountains. That way it will require a full turn to cross the river as that uses all your movement. Put 1 Swamp on either side of the port and hills on both sides (as you have now) and it requires Orc + Dwarf to move quickly and still have 1 turn delay to cross the river.

Incidentally there is one new Shipwreck ruin on the far left side, half way down with no Serpent/Kraken guardian. Not sure if that was on purpose or not.

Thanks!
It must not be as in the original when its better because of Balancing. Here is a screenshot with the other Version. I think i prefer the Version with Mountains. Or the same without a port. What do you prefer?

Shipwreck Serpent added. ;)

And yes the Eye of KGB is very good there. :)

Tim,

Yeah I agree it looks better with just the mountains. It will probably play better than way too.

One last thought. You could make a couple of the mountain squares into volcanic terrain. That way it would be possible to sneak Elementals through that area. Not very likely to occur but at least it would be possible if someone got some with a hero offer.

Ok i take the Mountains. ;)
Maybe i put some vulcanic terrain in some other Mountains too? That will be nice for bringing Elements in the Game.
