I miss the old popup box: "and your hero brings 2 allies..."

Moonknight - I've found that if I cancel the hero popup, look around the map and then refresh the page, the hero offer will return.

If you are playing a beta 3 game, there is actually a 'hero offers' button on left hand side. If you initially say no to a hero, but decide later that you want to hire that hero, just click the button..and the offer will reappear.

That's good, but a new player will never figure this out on their own. Maybe the refusal button text could be changed to something like "Not now" to hint that the offer can be addressed later, and a textual hint somewhere in the panel explaining the hero offer button.
