Water is flashing black

The top one is two divs on top of each other. So the front one holds the animation and the backone holds the background.

But we can't double all the divs because it would make scrolling the map slow.

This must be a bug in chrome, can't see how it can be any other way. There is nothing wrong with CSS, I've checked it a bunch of times and it runs in every other browser. Would be good to figure out what triggers the bug and report to google.

Update: the bug shows sometimes, but then it does not another time. It seems random, and I have not yet figured out a connection.

Dont have the Flashing since i updated my Graphic Card Driver Today...dont know if this is the reason...

Now you should have an option (for version 1.01 games only) to not animate terrain. If you uncheck this setting and then reload the client, you should get a game without animated water.
The setting can be found ingame under GAME -> SETTINGS,
or if you go to "Account Settings" here in the community you have a new option under "UPDATE GAME SETTINGS"

I still see the bug frequently, but not always. I have the feeling that it occurs much less frequently in older games?!

As Chazar says i have it most)only?) in older games. And the Issue isnt gone after my Graphic Driver Update... The No animated Water worls in Chrome but not in Opera. There it still flashes. ;(

Note that I do see the bug on my Smartphone and Tablet as well (both Android) and I also see it both with Windows and Linux running fairly new versions of Chromium.

I am pretty sure I did not see the water flashing bug a couple of week ago on the mobile devices, so something must have changed in between.
