I should get both games set up later today once I get a password from Piranha for round 5.

I am considering 2 maps:
1) The Waste
2) Abandon Kingdoms - Moonknights new map that will be 'fresh' territory for both of you but does have limited city production.

I had to wait till the map was turned into a ladder map.

I just created the game now but when I tried to enter the tourney password Piranha gave me it failed. I've PM'd him asking for help. Once I get that resolved the game will ready to start.

Ah, I just returned the favour that you gave me in the very first round of this epic tournament!

What did I win? How about replacing my little yellow star in the users' list by a little yellow cup (or the beer mug icon), until the next Warbaron's Cup winner has been determined? It would be the cup that is actually passed on with each iteration of the tournament?!

I second the suggestion of a Yellow Cup to indicate the current reigning winner.

However the next iteration will have to have FAR fewer rounds. This tourney could have done with at least 1 fewer rounds and possibly two.

Winning in one tournament isn't something unusual. I see that Art has won already 2 tournaments, not such long but not less difficult.
Would be worthwhile to give some special symbol, red star for example, after 5 won ladder seasons in the same category, 1v1 or FFA. This looks a more well-earned reward.

Yes, another badge for the last ladder champion is a good idea, too! Having 2-5 of such badges is not too much, imho. They are relatively cheap to implement (one or two icons with different colors) and are a motivating prize for all participating players.

However, I disagree that tournaments are easier than ladder, since the Warbarons ladder allows players to cherry-pick their opponents. I've repeatedly seen new players getting ripped off by expert players using undercover pseudonyms simultaneously in two or three games at once.
