Fixed the issue with Arcadia able to access the water.

Also created a bunch more start options for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 2v2v2 games.

Piranha/SnotlinG can you replace the existing map/ladder map with version.

Thanks,

KGB

P.S. Here is the list of original updates to the map:

1) All the production limits have been removed. Make what you want where you want.
2) The entire central section has been redone for better game play. Only 2 good items there now, one in each of the 2 heavily guarded central cities. 6 razed cities for players to rebuild so they can vector armies to help conquer the middle. The gold cost is down for the rebuild so it's affordable. The 6 rebuildable cities must conquer the 2 central cities before they can access their neighbors area.
3) The only cities with water access for Serpents/Kraken are the central cities. So rebuild/conquer those if you plan to build those units.
4) The 3 temples have been replaced with 13. 6 UL, 6 Move and 1 Strength. All are water accessible for Serpents/Kraken and reasonable centrally located so players can visit them as part of conquering the map.
5) The Shipwreck ruins have been adjusted. 1 of the 2 was moved behind the start islands. That now contains a L2 item. The other is between the start islands and contains gold. So no Serpents/Kraken can be obtained until the ruins regenerate.
6) Starting setup is now defined for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2 so no more starting next to each other.

Otherwise the map is exactly as it was.

This looks certainly much more balanced. I think no flyer at central cities were a good idea. With mountains at the islands It might be hard to stop Eagle riding Barbarian. On the other hand with flyers on, one need to build Ghosts in that case. I am not sure.

gil and I have been playing games on this map and have both run into empty shipwreck ruins. Can you delete the shipwrecks and replace them across the map?

I don't know what you mean by empty?

As in nothing to search or some artifact left on the map? Can you give me an example of one.

After successfully defeating the defenders in the ruin, a box comes up and says, you have discovered the following:, but there is no item provided.

It is supposed to be a random item as the reward according the the map editor, not sure why they aren't being provided.

gil had contacted piranha, but it sounded like the map may be broken. It's happened in multiple games and at multiple ruin sites.

That's really strange.

Everything looks fine in the editor. It says there are 30 ruins and there are indeed 30 ruins so no 'ghost' ruins of any kind. 6 shipwrecks set to gold and 6 to items. There are 12+ L2 items so I can't see any way the game could run out unless you were playing a really long game and had a LOT of ruin respawns.

Maybe 'random item' reward is broken in the game itself. I don't know any other maps off the top of my head that use it.

I'll report it as a bug and see what happens, but it has happened in multiple games on this map and just for the random item shipwrecks and it was the first time they were being explored.

FYI, gil says that SnotlinG has fixed this issue, but games that were started before the fix are still broken.

Yes, but apparently the fix is just to replace empty ruins with gold rewards. That is already in place now for respawns on large maps where it's possible to run out of items. Now it's been added to ruins at game start in case there are so many ruins that the game runs out of items to place.

That doesn't explain what's happening here. I have ZERO idea how it can happen on this map given there are only 6 L2 items in use and at least 12 L2 items in the game.
