Dope in sport

Postby Igor » Tue Sep 13, 2016 5:48 pm

Just have read that hackers, probably Russian ones, hacked WADA server and made open for wide community that a row of American sportsmen were using dope. WADA said that this was for medical reasons but Russian doctors say that this was very powerful dope and there is no official medical diagnosis for using it.
Russian sportsmen use dope, American sportsmen use dope as well... Where this sport world is going to, is something clear and free of dope and of policy in sport now?

The true dope in sports are those fans who believe athletes are clean

They should let them all do / use what ever they want. At least those of legal age (18+).

Hackers have published 5th part of materials about sportsmen who used dope with WADA agreement.
It's wondering how so many top sportsmen are so "ill" that they can play only with help of medicaments
Looks that it can't be excepted that WADA agreement is only fiction which lets a row of top sportsmen to use dope for best results.
Can only be sorry about such things in the world sport.

How this was with Williams sisters, quotation from expert opinion of sport doctor:

"This is already forgotten, that originally was suggested that athletes who are really in need of such treatment should be at this time not to participate in the competition, so as not to have an advantage over other athletes.
Intense, stressful training and competition brings the activation of the adrenal cortex - as a reaction to the load. But such long loads (without them it is impossible to achieve high results) lead to depletion of the medulla of the adrenal cortex.
During lowering functions of the adrenal cortex, there is a phenomenon, which is called the "effect of the missing antibodies in athletes", ie there is a sharp decline in immune function against various infections and other disease-causing factors. If during this time the athlete will hand over blood tests, even a local doctor diagnosed - immunodeficiency and necessarily prescribe medications that are doping from WADA list. Such diagnosis as immunodeficiency - is already sufficient reason to apply to WADA for permission to use illicit drugs, and that probably was made by the team of Williams sisters. Thus that is not coincidence that medicines of both sisters are the same.
Tennis players of top level are forced to play in tournaments almost every week - to keep or gain points in the rankings. With this structure, trainings are moved to second plan and they largely coincide with the participation in the competition. This enormous load for the body. Even in the off-season tennis players rarely can afford a vacation for more than two weeks. And any skipping workouts or reducing loads to recovery or treatment leads to a loss in the early stages of tournaments.
While rivals are forced to reduce stress, to lose physical shape and then restore it, Williams sisters, having received permission to use the forbidden pharmacology (eg prednisone and prednisolone) are maintaining a high enough level of hormones in the blood by steroids, and not to bring the crust adrenal gland to exhaustion. When others are forced to rest or heal injuries, sisters continue to train and participate in tournaments."

Do Canadian ice woodcutters also use prednisone and prednisolone and they will be found in 6th part of WADA list?

Joke. I think they deserved the win. Good team.

They are a great team. But boring to watch because it's system hockey with no creativity.

I went to Toronto last week to watch 6 games and the 3 that involved Team North America were a joy to watch compared to Team Canada.

Agreed about young North America team. Very interesting, dynamic playing.
Also liked Europe team even though it was much slow. But they can't beat Canada, I even don't watch the final games for don't get bad emotions.
