Credits for approved maps?

I was just throwing this out there for the admins :

How about awarding credits to mapmakers for approved maps / ladder maps?

After all, the map makers are helping to design places to play, and they are quite time consuming to make. How about a little reward / incentive for our map makers?

We also need a lot of existing abandoned maps updated/rebalanced.

What was the decision on this?

I'd love to make great maps and earn credits (and would appreaciate any guidance and testing to make them worthwhile).
