Let's discuss on a new double elimination tour 1x1 start 1st October

Start aways 8

We need 8-9 maps

Big? Little? Middle?
May be little ones for the start rounds and big in the end.
Or, the opposite, big in the beginning when all are in, and small in the end when only 4-2 players.

Since this tour will be double elimination with 8 rounds we have to ensure it will finish in a logical timeframe

That is we have to chose maps starting with smaller maps to larger.
Also in tours it is good to avoid very small maps judged in one battle.
This is also one more reason to avoid lovely big maps such as alamaze and orrwars that are not suitable for duels at any case exept maybe the final.

Some maps have been overplayed in late tournaments and raised some concernson tournament use
That is we should exclude sahara and river crossing that is my favorite duel map.

In order to facilitate and agree on maps before Christmas I shall do the following:

I ll post a list of 17 maps for selection in small to large order.
Then anyone could chose 8 of them from smaller to larger.

The most voted 8 will go for the tour
Anyone having objections on selection system or a strong desire for a map not selected could state so in order for the map to be added in 17...
