Let me say some words.
Narcissus map has only selected units in production. Let this map going out of the tournament, may be for fun games. I think that better when players can choose any units money can let them.
The same thing is for Hexagon.
Hammer Mountain map is not small but tiny, like Lonely Isle. One lucky fight can make the result. May be better to choose something more.
Digital Clover also looks very small for tournament, not the same as Hammer Mountain but less than many others small maps.

As soon as Daradorn Valley has been offered to consider, may see that maps from last tournaments can be in use. If so, I would offer next changes:
RiverCrossing instead of Hammer Mountain,
Abandoned Kingdom instead of Digital Clover,
Michuaquan instead of Narcissus,
and something instead of Hexagon, may be Inner Sea War, funny map with unknown start points, may be to correct them (fixed start points) for the tournament. Or another map.

May be to use Negern's Archipelago somewhere (currently submitted).

I tried to combine the percious input in a way everyone is somewhat happy
This was not easy but did my best :?

I tried to:
- Put fast maps in first rounds to have some quick tour progress and avoided huge maps
- Include different play styles and terrains
- Include all top preferred maps with few proposed seldom maps and avoided maps that there where objections
- Avoid the usual problem of endless discussions on maps

When you try to make everyone happy the usual result is that noone is happy

I love playing tournaments but I hate endless discussions on how tournaments should be :(

I tried to combine suggestions and I suppose I did a very bad job since Igor wants to change 80% of the selected maps

I am 51 years old and I smoke a lot
A double elimination tournament with many players and huge maps might exceed my life span duration

River crossing is my favourite duel map and should NOT be included in the tour because 32 players had 3 tour games on the map in last duel tour.

In order to partialy satisfy Igor's requests let's swap Abandoned Kingdom instead of Digital Clover,
Michuaquan instead of Narcissus, and use the waste for any possible need after round 8

Updated list of proposed Maps as follows

Round 1:
Hammer Mountain

Round 2:
Rivalry

Round 3:
Abandoned Kingdom

Round 4:
Michuaquan

Round 5:
High Seas Combat

Round 6:
Daradorn Valley

Round 7:
Tundra conflict

Round 8 till the end:
The Waste

If there are strong ongoing concerns on the selection, Igor is encouraged to combine input, chose any maps for the tour and contact admins.

I ll be happy to participate with any maps ...

It's your rodeo, cowboy, be ruling.

But if you open a discussion, be ready that somebody can say somthing that you may don't like :)

Maps are nice. Should train coin flip for 1st round and then all will be ok.

It is not my rodeo, I am not ruling and I favor indians to cowboys.
:P
This is the last time I try to facilitate a tournament...

Would it be better for you if we switch Hammer mountain to digital clover?

Hammer Mountain is not a good map anymore since Dwarf Engineer has Mountain crossing ability. I played AI and my dwarf hero leveled up in turn 1 and He could bring all the army to the other side in 5 turns without landing on ICE and avoiding all the Towers. He has siege and becomes 40'/2 at level 2 and 52/2 at level 3. This gives huge advantage to the player who starts. Similarly Sorcerer has immense movement and automatic flight, She may arrive to the other side in 3-4 turns.

Some older maps tried to balance the game with mountains but it doesn't work anymore

But you do the great job of driving cattle :)
Maybe let people do the discussion for few more days and than add all mentioned maps to voting?
