  • Timestamps
    Currently the general chat, the in-game chat, and game listings all lack timestamps. It would be good to have some.
  • Halt move when discovering enemy _player_ in fog.
    Currently there's an option in the settings, "Halt move when discovering enemy in fog". It triggers both when discovering neutrals or enemy player units - but it's only useful for enemy player units, as 1) you know where the neutral castle defenders are already - on top of the castle; you don't know where enemy player units discovered from under the fog are 2) enemy player units can attack you and so pose a threat, neutrals can't. So there should be an option to only halt move when discovering enemy player units.
  • City/ruin descriptions, both randomly generated & set by the mapmaker
    Were in warlords2; added a lot of flavour.
  • Unit profiles
    Currently the only place to see the unit's abilities is on the Buy-Production-For-City screen, and the only place to see the meanings of the abilities is Warpedia. In the right panel, there should be an overview of the currently selected unit on the map, displaying all his abilities and showing explanations eg on mouseover. Right now, it only shows terrain bonuses.

You can click enemy units and see what it is.

I think your ideas are good, I'll write them on our list and see if we can put some of them in the game for beta4.

It would be great to have the in-game chat "turn" timestamps to know when things were said...like let's partner up for 15 turns...and then you forget what turn that was stated.

Timestamps and unit profiles would be very nice. Players learn unit stats after playing for a while, but it's a pain to be marching your units around and have to stop to check unit stats by selecting a city and going to the buy production screen. I do that occasionally to do things like verify units' base movement so that I can position for my next turn.
