Ill look into shortkeys for Beta4, it should be possible to add without too much trouble I hope.
LPhillips; the new pathfinding calculates much faster also, so hopefully it should help a bit...

Another option would be to change the cursor while calculating a path. Or to have a little red light somewhere that indicates that a path is calced.
