How do you usually do?

Most of the times of choose paladin, level up exp bonus to about 200%, then start with - enemy stack and later also command.

I've done some weirder builds to, though. The one that stands out the most is perhaps a valkyrie, which got all her stats put on the move bonus. The plan was that she and seven wizards should run around in enemy territory, wreaking havoc. She died when at somewhere around 25 steps though, with some wizards and light cavalries in the stack.

Maybe will try again some day, we'll see.

I built a few dread knights up to strength 9 with positive results. Most others don't think its worth it and favor negative stack and command. But I think that the strength is underrated.

next time try that move build-up with the DK so you get the STR 5 & +1 attack on top of the moves...ive had some fun with that path.
