Hehe not in the way that have been asked for here, that a a city for example could be city and forest if located in forest.

If you place city on forest the terrain becomes city, there are no layers of terrain. Changing our system to allow for that type of thing would be a pretty big job.

But bridges are always water and bridge so its pretty easy to make it work like that in battle.

But would sea creatures get bonuses when attacking a tower placed on a bridge? :P

As for those forest cities, to me it seems rather unnatural. When a city is built, you choose a hill high enough to build it on, or cut down trees if you build it in a wood, so that the terrain becomes plain... we aren't going to give bonuses to cavalry attacking a city in open terrain, are we? :)

Personally, I would much rather like to see some kind of siege system introduced. Something that would allow you to block units inside a city, maybe by placing units on four or two sides of that city, so that those inside could not leave without wiping out surrounding armies. :?
