Can't pick up Bow of Icarus

My Level 1 Paladin found the helmet that gives +intelligence and the bow of icarus on the ground. I was able to take and use the helmet, but when I drag the bow into the weapon position and click OK, it shows up on the ground again Do you have to be level 2 to use?

No you should be able to use it.
Which game is this, and whats the Heroname?

New turn, able to pick it up. Perhaps the problem was that my hero was at zero movement points

You should not need any movementpoints to be able to pick up/drop items.
So its some kind of a bug.
Do you remember if you hit OK button after picking up the helmet, or did you do both pickups in a row?
