AI Quirks

In case any of these can be fixed in Beta 6 :D

1. AI is confused by Volcano terrain
2. AI heroes do not pick up items laying on the ground free to take and equip
3. AI heroes do not search ruins (at least in the games I've been in)

I hope that no real time is going to be spent on the AI development in Beta6.

There are plenty of other features to complete/work on that I'd much prefer be finished before dabbling with the AI since Warbarons is primarily designed for multi-player and not solo gaming. Right now it's a perfect teaching tool for beginners wanting to learn the game and it should remain that way until all main development is finished. To make it a competent opponent would require more development time than probably all the prior development combined.

The plan is not to make the best AI, as this would require a lot of development timeand also most likely alot more processingtime on the server per AI-turn.
Currently the AI is only 2204 lines of code, so it cant be that smart! :-)

However I plan to fix bugs and make small improvments that hopefully will make the AI a bit harder :-)

I have made a small update now that should stop the AI from trying to attack units on Volcanic and on Mountains (unless the stack is Flying).

For Beta6 I will take a look and see if I can at least add some very basic leveling for AI heroes. Depends a bit on how much work will be needed though.

KGB, that's why I called these quirks and not bugs...I just think AI's would be a fun element to scenario maps, and a few little improvements might go a long way.
