locked out of log-in

This is actually Saladman, I had to make a new account to post. I cleared cookies in Chrome this morning, and when I went to log back in I got an "incorrect login information" message. I checked my e-mail from the last time I did that -I never did change the auto-generated one, so I just leave it filled in, but that still gave me an incorrect log-in info message. So I requested a new password, and when I got it 90 minutes later that didn't work either. I've tried both typing in the new password as well as cut and pasting it to be sure. I hate to miss any turns, though I don't think I have anything too urgent yet.

My wifes account, Crimson, has the same problem logging in but for some reason doesn't have problems logging through warbarons.net instead of com.

I was unable to get to Warbarons in Firefox at home or at work. The browser kept saying I was being re-directed to a link that would never resolve. I thought the site was down until I used the browser on my cell phone and realized it wasn't the site that was down.

I had to manually delete the cookie in Firefox. Once I did that I was able to get to the site again but I had to of course re-enter my login information.

Do you have any idea what you did when it happened? Or when? Was it when we did the server move or was it just one day that you could not access the site?

It 100% happened yesterday. The day before I accessed the site and played multiple turns with no problem.

Yesterday I could not get to the site at home or work with the same error message. Now three things to note:

1) Very recently (yesterday or the day before) at home and work I got an automatic update from Windows. That may or may not be contributing to the problem depending on what it did (it did not require a reboot).

2) I notice that I can no longer ping www.warbarons.com. Have you turned that off and might be be contributing to the problem since the IP address it attempts when doing DNS might not be right.

3) When I realized the site worked on my phone, I immediately tried using IE on my computer and even though Firefox could not get there, IE could. That told me it was a cookie problem of some kind (not sure what is stored in the cookie for Warbarons)

Again, with KGB, happened yesterday. A cookie issue. Updated windows as well. Deleted my cookies for warbarons and i got access again. Would have no idea how to troubleshoot the problem though. But I'm guessing more people are having this issue and maybe don't know how to delete the cookies for the warbarons site.
