In-Game diplomacy in FOW game...

Postby Moonknight » Mon Jan 30, 2012 2:29 am

I'm in a game in which it started as a 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 battle. It is now a 2 vs. 1 vs. 1 game, which quickly becomes a 2 vs. 2 game. It'd be nice to be able to see everything that my new ally can see just like you can with a teammate.

But think about the fact that your pact wont allow you to win together. But adding the option to share vision might be a good idea.

I strongly disagree. If half of your team is eliminated, you have to win without them. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is an expedient point of view, but it's not within the scope of a fair competition. You had an ally, and someone kicked his/her ***, or they quit. Either way you don't get to pick another ally. The team with 2 players on it deserves the advantage they've earned by eliminating the competition, and shouldn't be punished by having to suddenly face a new team.

You're effectively punishing successful players for eliminating others. Consider this: the best thing to do then is to always leave your opponents with 1 castle, or the remaining players will gain shared sight.

Okay well can we add this feature for FFA games rather than team games. Also not sure what you are talking about LPhillips when they die they lose the vision thus no advantage.

I believe he means that the team that eliminated the player gets the advantage
