Next Logical Hero to be Added...

I think the easiest Hero to add using abilities in the game right now would be the Ranger, a super Scout/Elf.

Anti-Air Leadership - This game is now vomiting powerful air units left and right, especially Demons. Pair elves, wizards or eagles with a high-level Ranger and you can take down air units with ease.

Ability to get to lead armies through any terrain with 2 movement (maybe start off with 4)

Ability to increase group move more than the other heroes.

Ability to increase personal move higher than the other heroes.

Starts off with a higher sight radius/ability to increase sight radius higher than the other heroes.

You probably wouldn't hire this hero at the beginning of a game, but I could see him being very useful to get midway.

That's is almost identical to our ranger hero that we designed and plan/want to buy :-). More heroes is high on our list too. Only so freakin expensive.

It sounds like it overlaps the Valkeria a bit much. And heroes already have the ability to lead anywhere at cost 2, for a mere 3 Ability Points. But the general concept is sounding good.

More fundraising! Must reach 6k!

The next hero we need is the Thief.

Primary abilities would be:

Siege (So you don't need a siege unit and would be immune to Archons. Represents his ability to sneak into cities and open gates)
Pillage (obvious, should start with much higher value than other heroes)
Steal (Steal would give more gold from opponents treasury and from looting ruins)

I love the idea of both these heroes. However, stack anti-air is quite a specialized basic ability for the ranger. Maybe allow the ranger to purchase basic command as well, or give him a good deal on group ambush to compensate. Group ambush is a good fit for a thief as well.

Siege bonus might be added to Valkyria, cost 15 per +5, max +15. That is thing that can make Valkyria more useful, like Paladin and Dread Knight

I hadn't made the connection of Thief to the Siege ability, but what you say is logical. I was thinking about a Thief hero, but all I could come up with was Pillage and Steal, which alone would not make a great hero.

I also don't think all hero types have to be equals. Certain maps and points in battle might dictate the need for a Ranger or Thief, but the other three heroes would probably still be dominant, which is perfectly fine!

I was also thinking a Thief could increase gold found in ruins and maybe a Ranger could add UL to a different hero (just like a scout/wizard/crusader/ghost)...

Igor, the Valkyie is fine as she is. She really doesn't need any help.

Moonkight, I can't see myself choosing a hero with anti-flyer as its only combat buffing ability, unless its other powers (stack movement/ path finding/ group ambush) were significantly superior to the other heroes. In that case, I would likely focus on those abilities and largely ignore the anti-flyer bonus (unless my opponent was crazy for flyers).

I thought I read a post a while back, where piranha (or maybe snotling) was talking about adding some sort of hero that would be specialized in taking out opponents' heroes, like an assassin.

Magian, Valkyri is too weak as defender where she has no leadership. I'd like her in first turns when she is faster than Paladin and has more leadership: +6 on first level. She really need to be stronger to be more often in use. Siege bonus is the thing that she really need.

One bonus which I sometimes really would like to see at heroes is something against ambush. Let's call that Exploration. That's could help the hero to attack a city with 8 Ghosts and a lot of infantry

once again I have to say I don't like this idea. thief sneaking into city and oppening gates? come on, this is so implausible. but I would be glad to see a sorcerer. or - maybe all heroes could use some magic? let's say ten different spells, sorcerer would have always one random spell per turn. for exemple:
mesmerism - when you attack one of opponents units comes to your side (this is obviously taken form this board game - Talisman, it was mad popular in Poland in early 90'),
petrification - you can turn ones army into rock for few turns
ice spell - you can freeze river so it transforms into ice and go through the river with yor army etc.
of course the higher the level, the better spells you get
this would be nice.
